Submitting a Collection
If you are interested in submitting a collection for consideration to be displayed on the Police Patch Museum website, here are some guidelines.
Collection must have a theme.
Patches should appear to be part of a specific collection or grouping. Such as you would see with a collection of art at an art museum. Examples: South Carolina Patches from the 1960's, Texas County Patches, Michigan Police Patches, Los Angeles County Agencies, etc.
Collection should appear to be rare or unique.
What is unique about your collection that interests the museum visitor? A collection of 25 common patches from Florida might not seem like a worthy collection, however, 25 patches from Florida in the 1950's would be unusual. Or a collection of all of the current city or county patches (or nearly all) would be interesting. The collection should seem to have some degree of difficulty and accomplishment.
Patches must be authentic.
Patches must, to your knowledge, be authentic law enforcement patches from the departments. Novelty patches not authorized by the departments will not be accepted.
